Responsibilities

• Assist head coach in planning and conducting daily practices with age-appropriate drills.

• Provide instruction and feedback on batting, pitching, fielding, and base running.
• Foster an inclusive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork.
• Assist in organizing team events, games, tournaments, and fundraising activities.
• Communicate team expectations, schedules, and player progress with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety and well-being of student-athletes during practices and games.
• Support compliance with school and athletic association regulations.
• Attend staff meetings and coaching clinics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting daily practices, ensuring that drills and training sessions are effective and age-appropriate.
• Help develop game strategies and prepare the team for competition, including scouting opponents and analyzing game footage.
• Provide instruction and feedback to players on skill development, including batting, pitching, fielding, and base running.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
• Assist in the organization and management of team events, including games, tournaments, and fundraising activities.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team expectations, schedules, and player progress.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and games.
• Support the head coach in maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and policies set forth by the school and athletic association.
• Attend staff meetings, coaching clinics, and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience at the high school level or higher, preferably in baseball.
• Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
