Join Towne Park as a Lead Valet Attendant ($12/hour + tips) at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. We are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality services and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Position Overview: The Guest Service Captain, while not a managerial role, coordinates and administers guest services, troubleshooting issues, and guiding team members when the manager is unavailable. They handle critical issues, make judgment calls when necessary, and report non-urgent matters to the manager.

Job Details:
  • Compensation: $12/hour plus tips, with competitive, fair pay based on skills, experience, and location.
  • Work Schedule: Typically 7am - 3pm or 3pm - 11pm.
  • Benefits: Eligible for accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurances, telemedicine, and 401k plans (eligibility varies).
Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with guests and coworkers.
  2. Greet guests promptly and participate in delivering excellent hospitality.
  3. Assist with vehicle parking, retrieval, and guest inquiries, maintaining accuracy and composure under pressure.
  4. Use proper etiquette, conduct room presentations, and assist with bell services.
  5. Lead teamwork efforts, assign roles, and manage staff during shifts.
  6. Handle vehicle claim checks, secure keys, and manage revenue collection accurately.
  7. Ensure guest confidentiality and safety, including wheelchair checks and HIPAA compliance.
  8. Support scheduling, revenue collection, and shift reporting tasks.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old, pass background checks, and complete wheelchair safety training.
  • Six months of related experience or equivalent education.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record, ability to drive manual transmissions.
  • Effective communication skills, basic math, and understanding of time systems.
Physical & Working Conditions:

Mostly outdoor work, requiring physical activity such as walking, standing, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Environmental conditions include heat and cold. Travel up to 5% may be required.
