Job summary

Worldscape Technology Inc. in Redmond, WA, seeks a Lead UX/UI Designer to shape the client simulation design framework, building the foundations for the design system used across the client, website, and mobile app.

You will partner with product and engineering, translate ideas into wireframes and prototypes, and guide multi-disciplinary teams through the complete design lifecycle on live projects and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of UX design or interaction design experience.
• 8+ years of design experience creating mockups, wireframes and prototypes for web and mobile applications and/or workflows.
• Experience using Figma for prototyping and documenting UI architecture (patterns, components, guidelines).
• Proficient in establishing, designing, and using design systems and frameworks.
• Have an online portfolio demonstrating samples of design deliverables (design systems, personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes).
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify, create, and optimize design foundations, reusable components, and high-level patterns for the Worldscape client application.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and lead exploratory design initiatives across the studio.
• Deliver artifacts that raise the bar for visual and user experience design from wireframes to prototypes.
• Partner with product and engineering to own the implementation of your work.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to increase adoption and shape the future of the design system.
• Create and optimize processes and tools for designers, developers, and other consumers to collaborate.
