Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Utility Technician in Gilbert, AZ to operate Class A/B/C vehicles including pumper, fence, and tanker trucks in support of daily operations.

You will perform pre- and post-shift inspections, service portable restrooms and containers at various sites, maintain logs, and coordinate with dispatch. CDL or non-commercial license accepted; strong reliability and communication required.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspections and reports deficiencies.
• Reports improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Operates service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on routing information.
• Serves portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various sites per guidelines.
• Notifies management of issues on back-up routes assigned.
• Maintains radio/telephone contact with dispatch for directions and changes in locations.
• Maintains truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Follows all established safety rules and regulations.
• Operates flat bed truck to deliver or pick-up portable restroom units, sinks, holding tanks, or containers.
• Updates tickets with delivery/pick-up detail.
