• Ability to read simple plans or sketches and use measuring devices.
• Proven safety knowledge and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair potable water mains and service lines
• Inspect meters, valves, hydrants and drainage for leaks
• Supervise a small crew in televising and repair work
• Maintain accurate written reports and logs
• Inspect waterways and remove obstructions to flow
• Assist in roadway swale reshaping and culvert work
• Train coworkers in equipment use and safety practices
• Maintain safe work zones and comply with safety requirements
• Operate vehicles and equipment as required
• Report to supervisor and adhere to schedules
