One of our companies is currently looking for a Lead User Researcher in the United States.

As a Lead User Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's user research function by leading and executing research initiatives across the entire organization. You will establish a comprehensive research practice, utilizing mixed-methods expertise to influence product development and improve business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to build a systematic approach to understanding user needs at scale while helping the company maintain a human-centered approach as it grows.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and lead user research initiatives across multiple teams, driving research projects that address key business challenges.
  • Establish and manage a comprehensive research practice, including creating a central repository for all research findings.
  • Develop processes for regular user feedback collection and ensure synthesis of insights across product, design, and development teams.
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations that directly inform product roadmaps and decision-making.
  • Lead mixed-methods research, using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to evaluate user needs and validate product solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research insights are incorporated into product development processes and that user-centric solutions are prioritized.
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research, with a proven track record of driving impactful research initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in scaling research practices within organizations, with a portfolio that showcases high-impact research influencing product direction.
  • Proficiency in research tools such as UserInterviews.com, Maze.co, UserTesting.com, Lookback, Looker, and Qualtrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bonus: Experience working in early-stage startups, complex consumer businesses, two-sided marketplaces, or B2B products.
