Catalent is seeking a Principal Scientist - Process Development, Upstream, to lead mammalian cell culture upstream development and analytical method transfer to cGMP manufacturing. You will design and execute seed train scale-up, bioreactor runs, and DoE-driven optimization while collaborating with internal and external clients on multiple projects.

• PhD/MS/BS with extensive experience in upstream process development.
• Experience leading DoE-driven projects and DoE design knowledge.
• Experience transferring processes to cGMP manufacturing.
• Strong documentation and SOP/batch record writing skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead complex projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and implementation of mammalian cell culture upstream processing for transfer to cGMP manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot process issues, implement corrective actions, monitor outcomes.
• Design and execute DoE-based experiments including seed train scale-up and bioreactor operations.
• Support tech transfer activities to manufacturing ensuring robust processes.
