Job summary

Spiniello Companies in Baltimore seeks an experienced Foreman to lead our field crews performing underground utility and heavy civil work. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate manpower and resources, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Spiniello standards.

This hands‑on leadership role requires reading drawings, directing crew activities, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental rules while delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field crews on underground utility or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity in field operations.
• Proven ability to organize schedules and manage manpower.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily crew activities, assign work, and estimate manpower needs.
• Interpret drawings and direct pipe work, shutdowns, and installations.
• Coordinate traffic control and bypass systems to protect workers and operations.
• Lead by example, assist with equipment operation and manual tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
