Job summary

Spiniello Companies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex underground utility and heavy civil infrastructure projects in the Baltimore, MD metropolitan area. You will oversee the project from preconstruction through closeout, guiding project teams, managing safety, schedules, budgets, and client relationships to deliver on time and within budget.

The role reports to a Senior Project Manager and involves mentoring Project Engineers, coordinating with superintendents,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of Project Management experience in underground utility, heavy civil, or civil infrastructure construction.
• Strong knowledge of water, sewer, drainage, deep excavation, trenchless technologies, and related methods.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong financial management skills: budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple underground utility and heavy civil construction projects from award through closeout.
• Lead project planning, execution, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost reports, forecasts, and monthly cost-to-complete projections.
• Coordinate project schedules and progress updates with field leadership and clients.
• Mentor Project Engineers and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
