With 5–10 years of field experience, you will plan schedules, mentor crew, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and maintain records while prioritizing safety and quality on diverse infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Certificate preferred; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Review and understand plan specs and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of trench shoring systems and OSHA standards.
• Strong knowledge of construction math.
• Strong surveyor and layout skills.
• Hydrostatic test procedures.
• Strong knowledge of excavation techniques.
• Record installed quantities.
• 5–10 years of field experience.
• Proficient written and verbal communication.
• Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions.
• Maintain effective working relationships with office and field personnel.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers installing and repairing underground piping systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Plan and schedule work assignments, equipment, and materials to meet deadlines.
• Inspect progress and completed work for adherence to plans.
• Train and mentor crew on techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
• Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
• Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors.
