Job summary

A utility construction company in Cowpens, SC is seeking an Underground Climbing Crew Leader responsible for supervising crew members and performing construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical underground distribution systems. Candidates must demonstrate leadership skills, capable of conducting safety briefings, troubleshooting issues, and working in various outdoor conditions. The position requires CDL and the ability to lift heavy equipment. Overtime and travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CDL and demonstrate safe driving.
• Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crew members during underground work.
• Conducts pre-job or tailgate briefings.
• Troubleshoots problems on underground circuits.
• Maintains vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Conducts inspections of equipment and PPE.
