A leading healthcare organization is seeking a supervisory technologist for its Imaging department. The role involves overseeing technologist performance and ensuring compliance with established competencies. Candidates with extensive technical experience and appropriate certifications are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

Summary:
Under minimum supervision supervises and directs the activities of technologist working and/or rotating through the department including their discipline and performance while in that area. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned
QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound or MRI
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years technical experience. 2 years experience at supervisory level.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience at supervisory level
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist
(ARRT) or equivalent depending on specialty. Possession of current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license (if ARRT Registered in ionizing radiation)
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
