Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of materials and supplies; procures necessary items.
• Provides instruction to technologists and staff.
• Allocates work assignments and participates in staff training.
• Ensures proper operation and maintenance of all equipment and accessories.
• Prepares schedules and manages on-call coverage and timekeeping.
• Performs ultrasound procedures per departmental standards and documents results.
• Operates EPIC, PACS, Tele Tracking and related systems; supports scheduling and data recording.
• Performs portable ultrasound exams and assists in interventional procedures as needed.
• Ensures patient preparation and positioning for all views; explains procedures to patients.
