Job summary

Vision Square INC in Pittsburgh is seeking a senior frontend lead to own the design, development, and maintenance of Angular/TypeScript web applications. You will define frontend architecture, coding standards, and UI development best practices to ensure scalable, accessible interfaces.

Collaborating with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams, you will integrate REST APIs and AI-powered features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and UI development best practices.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into Angular applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineering teams.
• Integrate Generative AI/LLM-powered features into web applications.
• Work with technologies such as LLMs, RAG, AI chatbots, and AI APIs where applicable.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure code quality.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsiveness.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience leading UI/frontend development teams.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and reusable components.
• Experience with REST APIs and application integration.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-powered applications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services into web applications.
• Familiarity with RAG, AI agents, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
