Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Production Technician to join our manufacturing team at the Costa Mesa HQ. You will lead a team of technicians to produce UAS for strategic military and commercial customers, applying frontline technical skills.

This role requires strong hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and safety discipline, with experience in MES/ERP systems and Lean manufacturing. You will mentor operators, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a reliable production schedule.

Qualifications

3+ years in production-oriented manufacturing or electro-mechanical tech fields
Experience leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP and MES systems (NetSuite, JIRA, SQL, Tableau)
Understanding of product lifecycle, LEAN manufacturing, and ECO/change management
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Responsibilities

Lead technician staff in production and delivery of UAS through factory acceptance
Apply advanced knowledge to hardware assembly, troubleshooting and repair
Use hand tools and assembly tooling safely and effectively
Follow documented build instructions and ensure safety/standard work tasks are followed
Provide weekly production progress reports and escalate blockers/risks as needed
Train new operators and maintain a positive, collaborative team culture
Maintain daily records and operate in MES/NetSuite/JIRA/SQL/Tableau environments
