Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy in Lancaster, PA seeks a Twos Teacher for a full-time role. You’ll guide early learners through play-based learning, using age-appropriate activities and your creativity to build a supportive classroom.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, enjoy comprehensive benefits, and join a team committed to nurturing confident, curious children while partnering with families to track growth and milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to balance structure, creativity, and fun in a busy preschool classroom.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet applicable state licensing requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Previous experience in licensed childcare or early learning setting preferred but not required.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required.
• Experience with Toddlers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bring lessons to life through hands-on activities, stories, art, music, movement, and play.
• Help preschoolers build confidence, independence, early academic skills, and friendships.
• Use our curriculum and lesson-planning resources as your foundation while adding your own creativity and ideas.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and communicate with families about daily progress and milestones.
• Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a positive, supportive classroom where everyone can thrive.
