Position Overview
The Rabbi Steven Foster Early Learning Center is seeking an energetic, nurturing, and collaborative toddler teacher to join our vibrant educational team. We are looking for someone who is confident in working with the youngest members of our community. Our two year old classroom ranges in age from 2 to 3 years, with 10 children to 2 educators. Educators are responsible for caring for the children's needs while setting up enriching learning environments and activities. Educators are responsible for communicating with families daily to create a partnership for learning.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $18.50–$25.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement hands-on, child-led curriculum aligned with the Colorado Early Learning and developmental guidelines
- Foster a classroom culture rooted in respect, belonging, and creativity
- Support children’s social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Use developmentally appropriate practice to differentiate instruction and meet individual needs
- Collaborate with team members, administrators, and families
- Document learning through observations, portfolios, and assessment tools
- Engage with families through regular communication and inclusive partnership
- Participate in professional development and reflective practice
- Integrate Jewish values and traditions into classroom life in an inclusive and developmentally meaningful way
Required Qualifications
- Early Childhood Lead Teacher Qualified and/or Level 2 Credential on PDIS
- Strong understanding of emergent curriculum and child-centered learning
- Commitment to fostering a warm, inclusive, and respectful environment
- Comfort integrating Jewish values into classroom experiences (Hebrew is not required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and interact at child’s level
- Comfortable sitting, kneeling, and moving on the floor
- Willingness to engage in active indoor and outdoor play
