Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CDA certification (preferred).
• 5–10 years teaching in licensed childcare (preferred).
• 2–3 years Montessori experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare for lessons and activities using the provided curriculum and add your own ideas as desired.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment to ensure responsive care for each child.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and communicate with parents through conversations and updates.
• Contribute as part of a teaching team to support students’ learning.
• Deliver a preschool education that aligns with developmental needs.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

• Prepare for lessons and activities using our rich, easy-to-use curriculum provided for you with opportunities to add your own creative ideas as desired.


• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment to ensure responsive care is provided to each child


• Desire to build positive relationships with children and families and be able to provide communication to parents through conversations, messaging and taking pictures to share the child's day and growth.


• A passion for educating young minds in a preschool setting


• Desire to work as part of a teaching team

Teacher minimum qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED required


• Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting


• At least 18 years of age

Preferred qualifications:

• a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education or related field, OR


• a CDA (Child Development Associate Certification); AND


• 5-10 years teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting, OR


• 2-3 years’ experience in Montessori school setting
