Job summary

Bryn Mawr Trust Co., a WSFS Company, is seeking a Tax Manager in Wilmington, DE to lead the Delaware Trust Tax Services. You will oversee trust federal, state, and local tax compliance for the Delaware corporate trustee operations and coordinate with Trust Officers and Financial Advisors.

This role builds an in-house tax function, transitioning from outsourced providers, establishing processes, and driving efficiency through technology while maintaining high standards of service and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant tax experience.
• CPA, EA, or JD professional credential required.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, local tax regulations and IRS code.

Responsibilities

• Apply federal, state, and local tax laws to ensure timely tax compliance and filing for assigned accounts.
• Manage relationships with Trust Officers and Financial Advisors.
• Lead the Delaware Trust Tax Services team.
• Respond to notices from federal, state, and local taxing authorities.
• Stay current with tax law changes and their application.
• Lead tax operations, process improvements, and team development initiatives.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and technical expertise to team members.
• Oversee workload planning, prioritization, and quality control.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
