Job summary

Meyer Logistics Inc. is seeking a Lead Truck Driver Manager to oversee cross dock operations, supervise drivers, and drive route deliveries. This role ensures on-time customer service while maintaining DOT compliance and safety standards.

The position includes daily driver supervision, loading/unloading, route coordination, and timely paperwork. You will collaborate with the logistics and shop teams to keep the fleet productive and ready.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience driving 26-28 ft box trucks or other CMV over 10,001 lbs.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Valid truck driver license with endorsements for the state.
• Must obtain forklift certification within three months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross dock operations and maintain inventory levels.
• Supervise non-CDL truck driver staff; conduct orientation and training.
• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers.
• Load and unload freight from trucks.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email; complete required DOT paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA rules and regulations; perform routine maintenance coordination.
