Meyer Logistics Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Lead Truck Driver Manager to oversee cross-dock operations, supervise non-CDL drivers, and drive company trucks on scheduled routes.

You will ensure DOT compliance, manage daily driver performance, coordinate with maintenance, and handle route paperwork. 1–3 years driving 26–28 ft box trucks and 2+ years supervisory experience are required; forklift certification within 3 months is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other CMV over 10,001 lbs.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Previous warehouse experience and forklift operation preferred.
• Must obtain forklift certification within three months of starting.
• Valid truck driver license with applicable endorsements; no restrictions.
• Willing to pass drug screens and DOT medical exam.
• FMCSA rules and regulations compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-dock operations and maintain inventory levels.
• Supervise non-CDL truck driver staff and provide orientation/training.
• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries.
• Load and unload freight; respond to customer inquiries.
• Complete paperwork for company and DOT compliance.
• Update route directions and manage deliveries stop to stop.
• Coordinate maintenance with logistics and shop managers.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA rules; perform heavy lifting as required.
