Job summary

Cornhusker International Trucks, Inc. is seeking a full-time Body Shop Technician in Omaha, NE. The role involves welding, sheet metal, fiberglass, and body repairs, with opportunities to learn and grow within a small, family-owned company.

Pay is hourly, $25.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with benefits including medical/dental/vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Truck or Automotive Body shop repair.
• Experience in fiberglass repair is a plus.
• ASE Certifications or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair damaged equipment per policies and repair orders.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs per shop standards.
• Lead apprentices and maintain ASE certifications.
• Inspect and document maintenance records and perform road tests.
• Communicate with estimator on additional damage or time estimates.
