Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active California bar license and eligibility for federal courts.
• 8+ years of insurance defense litigation experience with a focus on complex trial work.

Responsibilities

• Lead Complex Trials: represent clients in high-exposure insurance defense matters including catastrophic injury and professional liability.
• Case Strategy and Planning: develop risk assessments, discovery plans, and trial preparation.
• Client Advisement: provide clear legal counsel to clients, carriers, and adjusters on case developments.
• Litigation Management: oversee pleadings, discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Courtroom Representation: serve as lead counsel in jury and bench trials and mediations.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
