Qualifications

• Experience drafting and arguing motions to dismiss or for summary judgment.
• Willingness to take cases to trial and to travel across Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Litigate civil actions defending Oregon Department of Corrections and its officers in state and federal courts.
• Mentor less-experienced attorneys and contribute to unit strategy.
• Manage high-volume caseloads with independence and client communication.
• Appear regularly in court and handle depositions as needed.
