Job summary

Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a licensed RN or LPN to join our Mississippi nursing team. You will administer medications, provide treatments, and monitor residents per physician orders in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

The role includes supervising CNAs, educating residents and families, documenting care, and maintaining infection control practices to ensure safe, compassionate service. A current state license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing as an RN or LPN.
• Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
• Flexibility to handle daily schedule changes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications, orally and by injections.
• Provide treatments to residents per physician orders.
• Monitor residents' reactions to medications and treatments and report changes.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.
• Document all services provided in residents' medical records.
• Educate residents and families about care plans and treatments.
• Supervise and instruct CNTs; assign daily tasks to ensure positive outcomes.
• Implement and maintain facility policies and infection control practices.
