Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience supervising transportation-security operations.
• At least six months as a work leader or supervisor distributing workloads and training.
• Reviewing performance and addressing routine workplace concerns; eligible TSA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Oversee passenger, carry-on, checked baggage, or cargo screening operations.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate rotations and coverage.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and judgment.
• Review employee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Approve leave and address routine workplace concerns.
• Respond to security incidents, disruptions, and emergencies.
• Prepare operational briefings, logs, incident reports, and management communications.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders, law enforcement, and TSA leadership.
• Suggest improvements to screening procedures, staffing plans, and operations.
