Job summary

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) seeks a Lead Transportation Security Officer at Waterloo Regional Airport (ALO) in Iowa. You will lead a team of at least three TSOs and trainees, allocate workloads, and ensure adherence to TSA directives in daily security operations.

You will train staff, monitor progress, and coordinate resources with supervision while responding to incidents, breaches, and emergencies to maintain travel safety and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Lead at least three full-performance level TSOs and trainees.
• Distribute and balance workloads according to workflow and skill level.
• Implement TSA screening procedures in accordance with objectives and directives.
• Assist with investigations and prepare incident reports or other required documents.
• Respond to breaches of security and emergency situations.
• Train team members and coordinate resources with the supervisor for resources.
