Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Transportation Planner to analyze distribution plans, consolidate orders into efficient truckloads, and route shipments to meet customer requirements. The role focuses on cost-effective solutions, carrier performance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in transportation, a related degree, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid setting (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the transportation field; Transportation operations experience required.
• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, planning, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience participating on cross-functional teams.
• Ability to develop relationships with all levels of management.

Responsabilités

• Analyze complex distribution plans to support load planning for truckload and LTL orders.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate orders into multi-stop truckloads and route shipments.
• Mentor/train new load planners and provide coverage for absences.
• Analyze data to identify cost-effective transportation solutions and drive performance metrics.
• Generate and analyze daily/weekly/period reports from TMS/ERP and support carrier relations and service issue resolution.
