Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Transportation Analyst IV in New York/White Plains to lead planning tasks and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team. You will develop technical plans, perform data analysis, and prepare environmental documents for transportation projects, communicating findings through compelling visuals.

The role requires a strong background in urban/transportation planning with relevant degrees and certifications, plus experience with planning tools and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in urban planning or transportation.
• Professional licenses/certifications such as PE, AICP, PTP, CEP, or LEED AP are preferred.
• Experience with planning and analysis for transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external coordination with project team members across disciplines.
• Develop and maintain client meetings and interactions.
• Conduct research on planning issues and formulate recommendations.
• Develop planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Prepare major sections of plans, reports, and environmental documents.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in scopes of work and proposals.
