Job summary

Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is actively recruiting a transplant nephrologist for our Renal Transplant Program, which performs 90–100 transplants per year and leads living donor transplant support.

The nephrologist provides the full range of transplant medical care, including immunosuppression and immediate post-transplant care, with careful pre- and post-transplant monitoring and a strong quality-improvement focus.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Nephrology or equivalent.
• Must obtain Oregon license and medical staff privileges.
• Active BLS from American Heart Association.
• Extensive renal transplantation experience meeting UNOS criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of transplant medical care, including primary immunosuppression and immediate post-transplant care.
• Pre-transplant monitoring to post-surgical care with a focus on outcomes.
• Collaborate within the Renal Transplant Program to improve patient outcomes.
