Job summary

GFT is seeking an OE Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Business Group. This role is available in multiple U.S. locations and supports remote or hybrid setups based on the candidate's preference. The ideal candidate will lead project designs, ensuring compliance and overseeing significant utility client projects while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering, with 4+ years of experience in transmission line design. GFT offers a comprehensive benefits package along with a competitive salary of $110,000 - $145,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in transmission line design.
• In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and related codes and standards.
• Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee transmission line project designs.
• Participate in Project Team meetings with clients and contractors.
• Review constructs for compliance with client standards.
