Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Lead Technical Architect to guide architectural design across medium to large-scale projects in a Transit-centric studio. You will serve as the design technology lead, coordinating with designers, managers, and consultants to ensure quality contract documents and adherence to BIM standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture and RA, with strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities, plus advanced skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and RA required.
• Extensive experience leading technical architecture on medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and presents lead technical viewpoint on projects.
• Coordinates with project designer and manager; implements team processes and contract documents.
• Promotes BIM/design technology standards and workflows.
• Leads coordination with sub-consultants and QA/QC checks.
• Mentors mid-career staff and participates in industry events.
