Job summary

The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is seeking a motivated Administrative Programs Officer I to lead coordination and delivery of LTAP training and workforce development initiatives. You will collaborate with local agencies, external partners, and advisory groups to develop annual training plans supporting NDOT staff and local personnel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; experience may substitute for education.
• One year of experience in administrative, business management, or technical support work.
• Experience interpreting laws, rules, regulations, and processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate statewide training programs and LTAP events for NDOT and local agencies.
• Plan and manage annual training plans with stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors, track progress and reports.
• Engage with agencies and associations to identify training needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
