The Department of Psychiatry is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a position as a Lead Clinical Training and Implementation Specialist with the PRISM team. The PRISM team supports the implementation of a specific model of integrated behavioral health care, Collaborative Care, in primary care clinics throughout Michigan. The Lead Clinical Training and Implementation Specialist will provide both large group training and individual training and coaching surrounding Collaborative Care basic and advanced skills. This individual will be responsible for assessing the skills and training needs of the primary care clinic's designated Behavioral Health Care Managers and developing individualized training plans. This team member will also oversee curriculum development and trainings for behavioral health care managers, primary care providers, and clinical staff.
As part of the PRISM team, the candidate will also be responsible for assisting in assessing and suggesting modifications to clinic operations to support the implementation of Collaborative Care. This will include assisting in site visits, completing clinic needs and readiness assessments, and assisting in the analysis and restructuring of clinical workflows. Responsibilities will also include organizing and leading training activities, ongoing site coordination, facilitating conference calls and meetings, data collection, and report writing.
Title Specific Requirements:
Training Specialist Lead - 8 years of professional experience
Training Specialist Senior- 5-8 years of professional experience
Training Specialist Intermediate- 2-5 years of professional experience
Experience with:
Primarily days, some weekends or evenings may be required
This position is primarily a remote position. However, occasional travel within the region may be required.

Depending on qualifications, this position may be underfilled as a Training Specialist Senior or Intermediate.
