Job summary

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville seeks a Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist to lead the movement and relocation of military and civilian personnel, overseeing HHG, unaccompanied baggage, and POV shipments.

The role requires expertise in traffic management principles, rates, tariffs, DPM contracts, and tender of service contracts, with hands-on experience using TOPS and DP3 systems to manage end-to-end shipment processes and billing.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience at GS-07 or equivalent in federal or private/public sector.
• Experience in movement and relocation of military/civilian personnel, overseeing HHG, unaccompanied baggage, and POVs.
• Knowledge of traffic management principles, tariffs, rates, DPM contracts, and tender of service contracts.
• Knowledge of TOPS and DP3 systems.
• Proficient in all phases of personal property shipment process including costs, electronic billing, and loss/damage claims.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, receiving, and storage of HHG, unaccompanied baggage, and POVs.
• Counsel personnel on PCS entitlements and handle sensitive shipments for high-ranking officers.
• Apply traffic management principles, tariffs, rates, and contracts.
• Utilize TOPS and DP3 systems in processing shipments and billing.
• Manage cost calculations, invoicing, and processing loss or damage claims.
