  • Develop and contribute to companywide standards and best practices in traffic engineering.
  • Make independent design decisions and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify and help resolve technical, budgetary, or schedule-related issues early and proactively.
  • Participate in construction support, including contractor coordination, field reviews, and responses to RFIs.
  • Prepare or contribute to change orders, addenda, and bid packages.
  • Assist in proposal preparation, including scoping, cost estimating, and scheduling.
  • Communicate directly with clients on technical matters, providing trusted guidance and expertise.
  • Stamp and seal engineering documents in accordance with licensure.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff to help grow internal capabilities.
  • Represent the firm in technical associations, conferences, or community outreach as appropriate.
  • Support business development by leveraging your technical knowledge to position the firm for new opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of technical experience in traffic engineering and transportation projects.
  • Proven ability to lead technical work and mentor others.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant traffic design tools and industry standards.

This is a non-supervisory leadership role, ideal for an experienced engineer looking to deepen their impact through both project delivery and mentorship.
