Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, a leading national provider of traffic safety solutions, seeks a Traffic Control Supervisor in Fresno, CA. The role designs, sets up, and maintains temporary traffic control in work zones, supervises crews, and ensures safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include operating trucks to site locations, placing signs and barriers, and monitoring work zones. Candidates must have ATSSA TCS training, a valid license, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 2+ years of traffic control experience with 4,000 field hours.
• Must complete ATSSA TCS intermediate training.
• Pass background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Must pass drug test and meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and on work sites; drive TMA vehicle to protect workers and work zones.
• Set up traffic signs, arrows, cones and other safety devices; install and maintain traffic control devices.
• Monitor the work zone during shifts and ensure items are in proper locations.
• Load and unload traffic control items; perform shop maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; travel statewide with possible overnight stays and rotating on-call schedule.
