Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure seeks a Traffic Control Supervisor Lead to oversee field traffic control for road and highway projects. You will lead operations, ensure safety and compliance, and manage on-site teams and equipment while travelling as required.

This DOT-related role emphasizes 80% field work and 20% yard/office tasks, with per diem paid, and a focus on delivering safe, efficient traffic control solutions under FMCSA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have DOT regulations knowledge and a valid TCS certification.
• Experience leading traffic control operations on construction sites.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset; able to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on traffic control assignments at high-profile projects.
• Cover TCS call-outs and provide on-site leadership for uninterrupted coverage.
• Train and mentor new hires on procedures, safety practices, and policies.
• Supervise subcontracted flaggers and coordinate scheduling and performance.
• Review JSA/DVIR and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Maintain equipment logs, perform inspections, and manage inventory.
