Job summary

Shain Associates in Princeton, NJ seeks a highly motivated software development leader to drive delivery of mission critical trading system software. You will manage development efforts, align with project plans, and collaborate with PMO on tracking and control.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years leading development teams in trading environments, strong OO design, and experience with FIX/OPRA protocols. You will ensure SDLC adherence, coordinate testing, and oversee releases to maintain system

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in managing development teams.
Experience delivering production quality software in trading systems.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS.
Strong knowledge of object oriented programming.
Familiarity with trading protocols such as FIX, OPRA, CTA or UTP.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Manage software development efforts to project plans and coordinate with PMO.
Oversee translation of business requirements into software.
Drive project planning to manage software deliverables.
Ensure adherence to SDLC and QA processes.
Oversee software releases and release management.
Collaborate with development management to maintain architecture and messaging framework.
Support testing with QA and Use Case teams.
Participate in performance analysis and tuning.
Contribute as a member of Requirements Committee and Crisis Management Team.
