Job summary

All Options in Austin, TX seeks a Trading Systems Performance Lead to shape the structure and performance of our trading support team. You will partner with traders and engineers to define standards, scale operations, and drive reliability across critical systems.

In this high-impact leadership role, you will design metrics, dashboards, and processes that align with trading outcomes, while recruiting and mentoring staff to grow with the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years' experience leading technical support, production engineering, or related teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly with traders and developers in a fast-paced environment.
• Scripting experience in Python and Shell; familiarity with Git.
• Working understanding of Linux OS.
• Experience with trading systems and US exchange protocols is a plus.
• Experience with C++ or Rust is a plus.
• Previous experience in a financial or trading environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow the trading support team, setting standards for performance and scalable practices.
• Ensure the team maintains system uptime, capacity, and performance under high-load market conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and operational processes.
• Oversee support for proprietary trading systems with incident tracking and reporting.
• Design performance metrics and dashboards linking system performance to trading outcomes.
• Prepare team structure, staffing, and processes to scale with growing trading systems.
• Drive a global follow-the-sun support model with unified processes.
