Qualifikationen

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training.
• 6+ years of toolmaking, machining, or related manufacturing experience.
• Advanced proficiency in CNC and manual machining operations and machine setup.
• Strong understanding of material properties, tooling design, and machining methodologies.
• Advanced blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) skills.
• Experience using complex precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Design, manufacture, modify, and repair tooling from drawings or concepts.
• Independently set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Interpret prints, specs, and docs.
• Perform advanced machining with tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Use advanced measuring/inspection equipment to validate specs.
• Troubleshoot tooling and machining issues and implement solutions.
• Produce prototype and one-off components for production/engineering needs.
• Help develop tooling processes, machining strategies, and shop best practices.
• Train and mentor lower-level operators and machinists.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet objectives.
• Promote safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
