Job summary

The Sunshine House is hiring a Childcare Teacher at our High Point, NC location. We seek passionate educators to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment, guiding children through engaging activities using Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, EDU119/NCECC cert or degree in early childhood, and experience in licensed childcare. Background checks and health assessments are required. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EDU119/NCECC cert. or a degree in early childhood or related field required for lead teachers.
• TAs and Floater teachers must have EDU119/NCECC cert. or enroll within 6 months of hire date.
• Degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in licensed childcare required.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
• Support children’s social and emotional development.
• Foster a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs.
