Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an energetic and nurturing Lead Qualified Toddler Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. Our toddler program sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and supports development through discovery and play.

As a Toddler Teacher, you’ll create a safe, engaging classroom where children can explore and develop independence with essential early learning skills. Join a supportive team and help us foster joyful learning for every child.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• CDA OR at least 60 semester hours with 6 credits in Child Development, Child Care required OR AA OR Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education required
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps toddlers feel secure and confident.
• Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leaders to ensure an exceptional learning experience.

Education

CDA or 60 sem hours with 6 credits in Child Development

AA or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education

Licensed childcare center experience
