Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Johnston, IA is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers to join our growing family. You will help inspire, encourage, and celebrate a child's love of learning every day, and work with a supportive team in a caring classroom environment.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth, with wage range $16.10–$21.35 per hour depending on experience and education. Must be available to work between 6:30am and 6:00pm.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or related field.
• Ability to satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
