Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Johnston, IA invites energetic teachers to inspire young learners and join a caring, dedicated team. You will help nurture curiosity, encourage growth, and celebrate every child's love of learning in beautifully equipped classrooms.

We offer a wage range of $16.10–$21.35 per hour, dependent on experience and education, flexible shifts 6:30am–6:00pm, and a complete benefits package including health insurance, 401K, paid time off, and discounted childcare.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Interest in beginning or continuing education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
