Lead Toddler Guide in Washington, DC, US

Now Hiring: A to I Montessori Guide (Toddler Classroom 2026–2027)

Starling Montessori, founded in 2024 and located in the Capitol Hill area of Washington, D.C., is seeking a passionate A to I (0-3) Montessori Guide to lead our Toddler Classroom serving children ages 16 months to 3 years, with a small group size of approximately 8–12 children. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an authentic Montessori program and grow with a developing school. You will work closely with leadership to build the Toddler program and foster a nurturing, child-centered environment. Candidates currently in Montessori training are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited A to I (0–3) Montessori certification (completed or in progress) AND Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field OR an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
• Experience working with children in a Montessori or early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development
• Warm, collaborative, and professional approach with children, families, and colleagues
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to building an inclusive, respectful classroom community
• Authorization to work in the USA is required.
