Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience, or 4+ years with an Associate’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial environments, including ISO quality systems and operating manual/semi‑automated machinery and industrial vehicles.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude with solid computer skills, basic math competency, and technical writing capability.
• Proven teamwork and collaboration skills with flexibility to shift between tasks as business needs change.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, verify, and validate machines and instruments to ensure proper setup and reliable results.
• Repair and maintain test and fleet vehicles; laboratory hub and bearing maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Diagnose testing errors, analyze/interpret data, and provide recommendations to maintain testing integrity and support project progression.
• Willingness, with Goodyear's support, to obtain Class A CDL to support offsite testing, including winter operations.
• Drive quality control efforts and support ISO audit processes.
• Collaborate with Engineers and contractors to troubleshoot equipment issues and support testing development or special operational requests.
