Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Lead for Operational Intelligence & Threat-Informed Defense to mature a capability that translates adversary knowledge into actionable defensive outcomes. You will analyze TTPs, assess exposure, and guide improvements across identity, cloud, and endpoints.

You will mentor analysts, establish standards, and collaborate with Cyber Defense, Technology Owners, and business stakeholders to strengthen intelligence-informed defense strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, SOC, IR or related defensive disciplines.
• Deep understanding of adversary TTPs and attacks across modern environments.
• Experience applying MITRE ATT&CK, ATLAS, D3FEND and related frameworks.
• Ability to translate intelligence findings into actionable defensive recommendations.
• Strong detection engineering and threat hunting methodologies.
• Experience evaluating vulnerabilities and security controls from an adversarial lens.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; explain complex risks clearly.
• Experience mentoring analysts and improving analytical quality.
• Strong stakeholder management to influence defensive priorities.
• Experience applying AI-driven capabilities to intelligence operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze adversary TTPs to understand attack execution and threat evolution.
• Assess attack paths and exposures across identity, cloud, endpoint, SaaS, and other tech.
• Map adversary behavior to security controls and recommend improvements.
• Translate intelligence insights into actionable guidance for detection and response.
• Provide context on vulnerabilities and exploitation trends for risk prioritization.
• Produce threat assessments, TTP analyses, attack path reviews, and briefings.
• Brief stakeholders and translate complex intel to actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Information Security, Tech owners, and Business teams on defense strategies.
• Incorporate lessons from incidents to improve intelligence analysis.
• Define and track metrics showing effectiveness of Threat-Informed Defense.
