Qualifications
- Board certification by ABS and ABTS or eligible
- Commitment to academic medicine and teaching residents, fellows, and students
- Experience in general thoracic surgery with lung transplantation
- Experience with minimally invasive and robotic techniques
- Clinical faculty or senior thoracic surgeons with academic interests encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Lead and build a new lung transplant program at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix
- Shape clinical protocols, multidisciplinary team, referral network, and UNOS certification
- Secure an academic appointment with University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix
- Provide leadership in program growth while maintaining high-quality patient care
