Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is interviewing Thoracic Surgeons to join an established clinical faculty and multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time opportunity with a general thoracic focus, including possibilities around lung transplant, on the Banner University Medical Center Phoenix campus.

The successful candidate will educate residents and medical students, participate in clinical and/or basic science research, and receive a faculty appointment commensurate with credentials.

Qualifications

• Board certification by ABS and ABTS or eligible.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Desire to practice in an academic/research setting and teach.
• Experience in general thoracic surgery, including lung transplant focus.
• Experience with minimally invasive and robotic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop a full-time general thoracic surgery practice (lung transplant optional).
• Educate residents and medical students.
• Engage in clinical and/or basic science research.
• Receive a faculty appointment commensurate with credentials.
